Carlos Real

Architect and developer with more than 20 years of experience in the real estate sector, specialized in the creation, structuring, and operation of commercial and residential projects across Mexico and Latin America.

He began his career as Founder and Chief Executive Officer of GDA Inmobiliaria, a company focused on high-value developments in Mexico City, in areas such as Polanco, Condesa, and Mixcoac, with investments exceeding USD 30 million.

He later joined Wal-Mart de México as Real Estate Director, leading the expansion of more than 100 projects in the central region of the country for formats including Supercenter, Sam’s Club, Bodega, Superama, Suburbia, and Vips, while consolidating a strong network of strategic alliances with leading national developers.

Subsequently, he became Co-Founder and Executive Vice President of Mexico Retail Properties (MRP), a leading shopping center development company in Mexico, where he oversaw New Business, Development, and Operations. During his tenure, he participated in more than 50 projects totaling over 2.5 million sqm of GLA and investments exceeding USD 2 billion, further strengthening his expertise across the full development cycle, from acquisition and conceptualization to operations and asset management.

His leadership combines strategic vision, financial focus, and architectural sensitivity, aimed at delivering sustainable value, proven returns, and a lasting urban legacy in every project.

Iñigo Lorenzo

Finance and investment professional with more than 10 years of experience in investment banking project structuring, and development across the energy, real estate, and industrial sectors.

He began his career at SAl Consultores, participating in the structuring of business ventures in the medical, manufacturing, and natural resources sectors. He later joined BBVA as part of the Project Finance team, where he contributed to the financing of five of Mexico’s major gas pipelines for CENAGAS; oil rigs for PEMEX; and real estate projects in the hospitality sector (including the Rosewood Mayakoba Hotel, developed by OHL), as well as residential and office developments.

Subsequently, at Alfaro, Dávila & Scherer, he led equity and financing transactions in the real estate and energy sectors, collaborating on projects for PEMEX, CFE, and the Mexican government, among others.

His strategic financial vision and multisector experience provide Origen Global with a strong foundation for investment optimization and the long-term economic sustainability of each project.

Jaques Hanekom

Development and cost management professional with over 22 years of international experience across the themed entertainment, hospitality and residential sectors.

Based in the UAE since 2013, he has advised developers from the earliest design stages, aligning feasibility, budget and design expectations on some of the world’s most ambitious projects. Between 2014 and 2018, he played a senior commercial manager role on Dubai Parks & Resorts before relocating to the United States (2017–2018) to collaborate with Universal Studios on global attractions including Universal Epic Universe, Universal Beijing, Jurassic World and Super Nintendo World.

His portfolio includes other landmark projects such as Google Partner Plex, Address Hotels Dubai Opera, Taj Hotels Cape Town, Oysterbox Hotel and Qiddiya Speedpark, working with organizations including Disney, Google, Emaar, Aldar and Kerzner International among others.

From 2019 to 2023, he worked across the Middle East on large-scale entertainment developments, including 20 entertainment complexes, resorts, and theme parks, and later contributed to major giga-projects such as NEOM – The Line and Diriyah Gate between 2023 and 2025.

Recipient of the THEA Award (2018), for outstanding achievement on limited budget he is recognized internationally for translating visionary ideas into commercially sound, value-optimized immersive destinations.

Mary Paz Canseco

Luxury hospitality and talent management professional with more than 20 years of experience in operational leadership, team management, and the development of service standards for international brands. Throughout her career, she has worked with Four Seasons, St. Regis, Embassy Suites, Marquis Reforma, and Le Méridien, building a solid track record that spans both operational management and human resources administration.

She served as General Manager of HS Hotsson Tampico and HS Hotsson Smart Value Tampico, and spent more than eight years as General Manager of Le Méridien Mexico City and Embassy Suites Reforma, where she led repositioning initiatives and operational optimization processes. She also held the role of Director of Human Resources at St. Regis Punta Mita and Embassy Suites, later being promoted to Operations Manager.

Her experience at Four Seasons Hotel Mexico, where she worked for eight years across human resources, procurement, and finance, allowed her to develop a deep understanding of the integrated operations of luxury hospitality.

A specialist in hotel operations, team leadership, and service culture, Mary Paz brings a strategic vision focused on excellence, operational efficiency, and the creation of memorable experiences for both guests and team members.

Simona Visztova

Retail and commercial strategy professional with more than 20 years of experience in operations management, acquisitions, and product development within the consumer sector.

She spent the majority of her career at Walmart, where she worked for 22 years in leadership positions across Mexico, Latin America, and the United States.

She served as Senior Vice President and General Manager of Sam’s Club, Suburbia, and Vips, as well as Senior Vice President of Purchasing for Latin America, leading regional acquisition strategies and expansion initiatives.

As the first woman to hold the position of General Manager and Vice President of an operating business at Walmart Mexico, leading Sam’s Club, she was recognized by CNN Expansión magazine as one of the 100 most powerful women in Mexico.

Her experience brings to Origen Global a high-level strategic and operational perspective, focused on resource optimization, commercial innovation, and sustainable growth.

Diego Periñan

Photographer, creative director, and visual communication specialist with a solid track record in content creation and brand strategy for hospitality, hotels, gastronomy, and other sectors such as automotive, fashion, sports, and technology.

His work is recognized for its ability to capture the aesthetic and narrative essence of each project. He has produced work for brands including Audi, BMW, Vogue, Haier, Mr. Wonderful, and the Dani García gastronomic group, spanning product, lifestyle, and spatial projects.

Throughout his career, he has collaborated with marketing agencies and creative studios, producing photography, video, and art direction for high-end restaurants, cafés, hotels, and hostels, as well as working with artists, cultural projects, and assignments for the press, magazines, and newspapers.

His approach combines technical precision, strategic vision, and a strong artistic sensibility, focused on building coherent, memorable, and emotionally powerful visual identities.

At Origen Global, he leads the Marketing and Communication department, integrating creativity, brand storytelling, and commercial strategy to drive projects with identity, purpose, and emotional value.
