Tezontcalli

Housed within a UNESCO World Heritage Site and built between the 18th and 19th centuries, the project reinterprets more than 300 years of history through a contemporary hospitality lens.

Conceived as a journey through time and materiality, Tezontcalli takes its name and conceptual foundation from tezontle, the volcanic stone that has shaped Mexico City from pre-Hispanic temples to colonial monuments. The project proposes approximately 78 rooms, alongside restaurant and bar concepts, rooftop, patio, spa, gym, and cultural spaces, positioning the hotel as one of the most exclusive hospitality offerings in the Historic Center.
